People seek outlets to voice their displeasure,
It's tragic and comic in equal measure,
The average, middle-aged male automaton with latent ambition never called upon, asks
"Who will fulfill all my potential after the bomb?
Who'll care about me after I'm gone?"

Just over a minute to go before the end of everything we know,
Foolishness finds a quicker recourse, a last minute marriage, a quickfire divorce,
The conspiracist screams "I was right all along! There's a smoke-shrouded room with old pros and old cons, wondering how in the hell they'll spend their millions after the bomb, who'll care about me after I'm gone?"

When our remains are filed away,
Who'll take out the thrash, wipe the sink, mow the lawn?
Who'll be a shoulder to cry on?
Everything was so much better prior to the bomb!
